A Sun chaser: from Paris to Miami!

A Sun chaser: from Paris to Miami!

I left my life in Paris to embrace a job opportunity in Miami, working abroad in an English-speaking country was a life goal for me. I told you I was a sun chaser. Living and working abroad and alone is quite a challenge, but as you know growth happens out of your comfort zone. So I embrace the journey. I miss my friends, my family, my heart sisters but I know I am where I am supposed to be in this period of my life. Do not be afraid to step out of your comfort zone. I knew I wanted to work in an English-speaking country, have an international career since high school. My family history makes me travel a lot and I enjoy this journey already back then. Traveling was already in my DNA…

So when I graduate in 2016, I was afraid back then to park my life and go and settle in an English-speaking country and find a job there at 23 years old with one year of experience. Somehow my dream firm catches me in a contract, but it turns out that the management was bad and the mission was not what I signed for. I choose to leave and run through temporary contracts until I find a job abroad in January 2019 thanks to a friend who send my resume to the firm. I pass 3 interviews, master it, and move to Miami even if it was not the dream job and the perfect conditions…

I choose to step out of my comfort zone and see what this experience could bring me. I learned a lot in this journey and acquired a great professional and life maturity. I am grateful that also met amazing people on this journey abroad.
I am back in France and preparing for my next challenge! am embracing my international career with less fear ( Let’s keep it real🤣).

So I keep pushing and facing life as it flows…
